Application

- Suitable for crankcase lubrication of   large crosshead type, high-output, low-speed marine diesel engines, equipped with oil-cooled pistons,  used in stationary, railroad and marine propulsion services.  .
- Main and auxiliary trunk piston diesel engines burning distillate fuels.
- Turbochargers.
- Geared transmissions.
- Oil-lubricated stern-tubes.
- Variable pitch propellers.
- Deck machinery.

Performance Features and Benefits

  • Excellent resistance to corrosion by salt water.
  • Good water shedding properties particularly suitable for crosshead engines which use water cooling systems to control piston crown temperatures.
  • Excellent oxidation stability with negligible deposits in piston cooling spaces.
  • Exceptional acid neutralizing properties help to keep the system clean.
  • Excellent dispersancy keeps sump tanks free from sludge and allows contaminants to be removed by filtration or by centrifugal separation.
